FS9/COF Scenery Downloads

The sceneries below are all located in the Timberwolf service area. Those constructed specifically for Timberwolf Aviation included TWA in the title. The remaining sceneries provide excellent charter destinations for TWA pilots and some may be included in the schedule as time goes. They are included here for download with the permission of their authors. Many of these sceneries will work in FS2002 as well. (Note that many of these sceneries require the Tree macros of Garrish Grays. Some include them, others do not. You can download them separately below and install them once directly into the FS2002 Scenery and Texture files.)

Description
Castlegar, BC By Vern Opperman
Castlegar is located in the southeast corner of British Columbia. It is nestled in amonsgt the Selkirk Mountains in a region known as the Central Kootenay district. Situated at the confluence of the Columbia and Kootenay Rivers, it is the hub city for 9 dams controlling the water flow and generating electricity for a large portion of the Pacific Northwest. Hence the nickname the "Best Dam City in the World". It is served by Air Canada Jazz Dash 8's, with 3 flights daily to Vancouver and 1 flight to Calgary AB. Believe it or not the now defunct Canadian Airlines (formerly Canadian Pacific) used to fly B737-200's into here.
Duncan, BC By Bruce Ellison
Just a short flight from Victoria B.C you will find the town of Duncan ,the little airport sits above the town.
Kelowna Airport, BC By Dean Kenyon
This is the old FS2002 scenery modified to better work in FS2004.
It adds a few hangars and aircraft. Not completely accurate, and it is still a relatively simple scenery but it is a better representation of the airport than the default. I have removed most objects that required the "Airport" texture set but if there is a missing texture causing a white block make sure you have the 'airport' textures in your main FS2004 texture folder. Available as "must have" files at major flightsim websites. Because I have these in my main texture folder I can't tell if there are any still being used in the scenery.
Hank's Trading Post By Michael Carr
Situated between the mountains and near the border of Canada lays HANKS Trading Post. Founded in 1937 by Hank Johnson Sr. it has become an important stop along many routes to and from Alaska and Canada. Modern features include lodging for pilots and tourists, an Air Ranger Station, Mira’s Bed and breakfast, the Pot O Gold Tavern (very well known to locals!), Hanks Trading Post, the Last Chance Liquor Emporium, docks for boats and float planes, Steve’s fish house, and home to Skippy’s nightly Homemade firework display at 9 sharp.”

Sitka, Alaska By Al Gay
The installation of the Sitka scenery will completley replace the stock buildings at Sitka with GMax produced objects and textures made from photo's of the actual buildings. The layout as well, with the exception of the runway, has been re-done with AFCAD2 to more closely resemble the airfield as of 2004.
