FS9/COF Scenery Downloads

The sceneries below are all located in the Timberwolf service area. Those constructed specifically for Timberwolf Aviation included TWA in the title. The remaining sceneries provide excellent charter destinations for TWA pilots and some may be included in the schedule as time goes. They are included here for download with the permission of their authors. Many of these sceneries will work in FS2002 as well. (Note that many of these sceneries require the Tree macros of Garrish Grays. Some include them, others do not. You can download them separately below and install them once directly into the FS2002 Scenery and Texture files.)

Scenery File
Description
BFU Brroks Range By: Naji Chehabeddine
BFU enters the faraway bush country of northern Alaska. Located at Coldfoot in the southern foothills of the Brooks mountains, this base will cater to the needs of visitors to the area, and of sportsmen who indulge in hunting and fishing. This scenery package consists of three sceneries: our new northern base BFU Brooks, Moose Camp and Moose Lodge. The camp sits in the mountains on a small lake, whereas the lodge is situated on the shore of a large lake. Visitors are flown into Coldfoot from Fairbanks, then on to the camp or lodge as desired. Moose Camp and Moose Lodge will not show on the GPS, and of course do not have an NDB or similar to guide you. You'd better start in the camp/lodge, and fly toward Coldfoot to get to know the area. The sceneries have only been tested with the default mesh.

Muskeg Outposts

By: Andrew Langer
Muskeg Outposts includes 3 seasonal remote camping sites located along the southern edge of the Brooks Range in Alaska. These areas are a favorite for photographers, hunters and fishermen. All are located within easy flying distance from the BFU Brooks base at the Coldfoot airport. Each site has is accessible to amphibious aircraft. Wheeled aircraft will have to land on the beach.
Misty Fjords-FSNavigator By: Brent "dogknot" Hricziscse
Boundary Lines for Misty Fjords for use with FSNavigator.
Cook Inlet Oil Rigs

By: Donald Elliott
AK Oilrigs Comprises 13 Oilrigs in the Cook Inlet, Alaska. These Rigs are highly detailed and frame rate friendly. Each rig is slightly different. The rigs were based from pictures found on the Internet. I have used some poetic justice to simulate the model of an Oilrig as best I can. I hope you will enjoy the detail of the rigs.

Cordova AFCAD

By: Dave Gillespie
More realistic depiction of the parking areas at the Cordova Smith Alaska Airport. Traffic will backtaxi on Rwy 09 or 27 depending on winds.

Alaska Trophy Tours By: Michael Carr
Gearing up for the New Year, Alaska Trophy Tours, Alaska’s premier adventure outfitter is now hiring bush pilots to cater to their guests and staff. Seeking experienced bush pilots with own aircraft, must be familiar with IFR (I Follow Rivers) flying and able to navigate in IMC thru some of Alaska’s untamed wilderness to deliver guests safely to and from any of the 9 ATT away camps and to help deliver staff and supplies as needed. Floats and Amphibians preferred. All interested pilots apply within.
Misty Fjords Cabins By: Milt Chambers
These cabins are depictions of the National Forest Service Cabins that are located in the Misty Fjords of Alaska near Ketchikan. They are available for rent and are flown to by various Charter Companies in the area one of which is Taquan Air whose web site is: http://www.taquanair.com/ . There is an additional cabin on Hugh Smith Lake that is used by the fish and wildlife service. I suppose you could land on the beach at these cabins but it was designed with float planes in mind. There are a total of 14 National Forrest Service Cabins in the Misty Fjords and I intend to do all of them. There is also one Commercial cabin in the area which I also plan to model
Paul Kane By: Paul Kane
You'll find Lake Ketchikan #2 just behind downtown Ketchikan, Alaska. The cabin is located on the far shore close to downtown. You can land on the water or make a beach landing. Be careful though, the approach for a beach landing is kind of tricky :-) There is also a helopad for you rotorheads! The area is acessable by plane with floats or wheels. The GPS ID is KLC2.
PAFA AFCAD By: Steve Lewis
This AFCAD adds new Runway 1R/19L left out of FS9 by Microsoft. Runway 1/19, formerly 1R/19L, is a 3,500' X 75' gravel strip used as a ski strip in the colder months and is still shown off the northern end of 1R/19L.
All airline gates are shown as close to their proper locations as the limitations of FS9 allows. Northern Air Cargo parking spots are shown at their proper locations. FedEx, DHL, and other cargo operations are shown at the cargo ramp at the north end of the field. Several smaller airlines that fly into Fairbanks have no available AI aircraft or schedules. These include: Everts Air Alaska & Everts Air Cargo (DC-6s), Frontier Flying Service (B1900s), Air North (B732, HS748, and Beechcraft 99s), Arctic Circle Air (C402 & C207s), and 40-Mile Air. I have schedules for Frontier Flying Service and Arctic Circle Air and may, in the future, generate these for upload. A schedule for Air North is available at FlightSim.com (airn_ai.zip) as well as the Air North HS748 (hs748an.zip) and PAI 737-200 (paias008.zip). The Aardvark Air North 737-200 (b732aia_airnorth.zip) is available at Avsim. A repaint of the CalClassic DC-6B for Everts is available at Avsim (dc6beverts.zip), also.
