Description |
| Kelowna
Airport, BC |
By: Dean Kenyon
This is the old FS2002 scenery modified to better work in
FS2004.
It adds a few hangars and aircraft. Not completely accurate,
and it is still a relatively simple scenery but it is a better
representation of the airport than the default. |

Grass and Tree Textures |
By: Jörg
Geipel
These textures replace the default fs2004 grass/meadow textures
and give an
alternative look of the worldscenerys. The new textures have
more structure and details on it and I think all files have
been tuned to blend well with the default or other worldtextures.

Thanks to the unusually large returns the company's investments
have seen, we have made some capital investment in two new
companies. 1) The Misty Lumber Company and 2) the Misty Moorings
Railroad. Actually, we didn't buy a railroad, but the lumber
cars can be written off if they are listed as being owned
by a separate company. Don't ask, it's a tax dodge! You are
now a shareholder in our little enterprise. Please find enclosed
your stock certificate for out fictious company. |

NWR Winter Strips |
By: Greg Spahn
This scenery is located in Alaska near the Kenai National
Wildlife Refuge and just southwest of Kasilof. The airstrip
is not controlled it is just a grass strip. I just added an
outpost building and a T-shaped open wood hangar building
for shelter if you get caught here during bad weather. This
is a default FS9 airstrip, just enhanced with a few macros
to make it more interesting as a stop. |

Radio for AK and CA |
By: H. Caron
ADF radios can normaly tune from about 200 KHz to 1800 KHz.
Higher than 535 Khz is the Broadcast band for normal AM radio
broadcast. In remote places like those for bush flying, navigational
aids are also remote!! Using local radio stations often is
the only alternative for radio navigating over these areas.
Besides, it can also be a source of local weather information,
musical entertainement, news, etc. |

Alberni, BC (CYPB) |
By: Lars Hoyer
I found this area and the airport while I was just flying
around in FS, exploring different parts of the world and kind
of got stuck there. The real airport was shut down several
years ago and has been replaced by the larger airport "Alberni
Valley Regional" (CBS8). Since it has been a while that
the airport was closed there was very little information available
on the internet. Fortunately I had a great source of informationnamely
Henk Arents. He flew in and of the the real thing many times
and could provide me with very valuable information and corrected
me as I built the scenery to make it as real as possible. |
| Ketchican_AK |
By: Tom Miller
This Ketchikan area scenery includes a few cabins and scenery
items placed in default seaplane base areas around Ketchican.
I have included in this scenery package a few GMAX created
structures such as cabins which are basically modeled and
modified after the Effect House included with the Microsoft
GMAX SDK addition as well as some scratch built structures
(change with calendar date). I have also included boat docks,
a tree (change with calendar date) , a canoe, a tent, a camp
fire and a motor boat created in GMAX by myself as well as
a few other default scenery items some of which were created
by Microsoft software designers to be used in the default
scenery setup. |
