INFORMATION FOR NEW AND CURRENT PILOTS

 

New Pilot Applications
Timberwolf Aviation is open to all members of the flight simulation community who are looking to expand their hobby beyond. Timberwolf is a relatively unstructured virtual airline with few rules and a genuine desire to see that everyone has fun. If you are interested in joining our growing VA, please take a few minutes to fill out the application on the join page. Applications are generally processed within a few hours of reciept. Please complete all of the fields on the application and double check your e-mail address. One in twenty applications arrives with an invalid e-mail address, generally a typo, that makes it impossible for us to inform you of your status. You are encourage to review our operations manual before completing the application to ensure you will be comfortable with our very few rules.

Operations Manual
All new and current pilots are responsible for reviewing an understanding the operations manual. Timberwolf is a very relaxed airline with a minimum of rules. The procedures for reporting flight hours and the limitations on such reports are outlined in the OpsManual. If you have any questions what so ever, please feel free to contact a memeber of the management team at any time.

Management Team
Timberwolf Aviation was the creation of a singel individual in 1999. It has expanded and grown significantly since and in July of 2000 control was passed to a management team. The team approach is used to ensure that no single individual feels compeled to contribute beyond their capability and within the constraints of their real world lives. The team approach also ensures that the direction and spirit of Timberwolf Aviation remains relavent to it's pilots. All active TWF pilots are encouraged to participate at what ever level they can. Open positions on the management team are posted on the themanagement team page and job descriptions are available to interested parties. This is your airline. You do not have to be actively participating through a management team position to have input. You should always feel free to contact us with comments suggestions and, of course, offers of help.
